1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, phone, location preferences), information generated from your use of our Services (browsing history, orders, waitlist entries, live stream views), and technical data (device type, IP address, browser type).

• Account registration data: name, email, password hash
• Restaurant data: business name, address, menu, operating hours
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, time spent
• Transaction data: orders placed, waitlist joins

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide and improve the LiveHushh platform, personalise your restaurant recommendations, process orders and waitlist requests, send service notifications, ensure platform security, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Live Stream Privacy

LiveHushh employs real-time face-blurring technology on all restaurant live streams. We do not store identifiable video data of guests. Restaurant owners consent to our streaming terms which prohibit storing, downloading, or re-broadcasting stream content outside our platform.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data with:

• Restaurants: order and waitlist data necessary to fulfil your requests
• Payment processors: for subscription billing (restaurant owners)
• Analytics providers: aggregated, anonymised usage statistics
• Legal authorities: when required by law

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days. Order history is retained for 2 years for dispute resolution. Anonymised analytics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws (including Canada's PIPEDA and provincial privacy acts), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. Submit requests to privacy@livehushh.com. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3, AES-256), regular security audits, and strict access controls. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure. Report security concerns to security@livehushh.com.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LiveHushh ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users including customers, restaurant owners, and visitors.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

3. Restaurant Owners

Restaurant owners subscribing to the Platform agree to:

• Provide accurate business and menu information
• Comply with all applicable food safety and business regulations
• Enable face-blurring technology on all live streams — disabling it is prohibited
• Not record, download, or re-broadcast live stream footage
• Honor orders and waitlist commitments made through the Platform
• Pay subscription fees on time; non-payment may result in account suspension

4. Customer Conduct

Customers agree not to: misuse the waitlist or ordering features, post false reviews, attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape platform data, or harass restaurant staff. Violations may result in account termination.

5. Live Streaming Rules

All live streams must comply with our Content Guidelines. Prohibited content includes: explicit or violent material, content that violates third-party rights, commercial advertising outside of approved promotional formats. LiveHushh may terminate any stream that violates these rules without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All Platform content (software, design, brand assets) is owned by LiveHushh Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute Platform assets without written permission. You retain ownership of content you upload, but grant LiveHushh a licence to display it on the Platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

LiveHushh is not liable for: food quality or restaurant service, losses arising from Platform downtime, actions of third parties, or indirect/consequential damages. Our maximum liability in any dispute is limited to fees paid in the 3 months prior to the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Toronto, Ontario. We encourage informal resolution before litigation.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be notified via email 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
